Nguyen is the Lean enterprise manager at Nosco, a full-service packaging solutions provider serving customers in pharmaceuticals and other regulated industries. He is responsible for the Lean Enterprise Program deployment at Nosco and has more than 14 years implementing continuous improvement tools. He is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and has developed the Nosco Lean Certification Program, which has over 86 belt participants. Phuong has had various positions (supply chain, operations consultant, process engineering, Lean 6 Sigma Black Belt, and quality manager), and has worked for Honeywell, Kimberly-Clark, and Outlook Group. His diverse background has helped him in leading Lean process improvement teams in operations as well as in the front office.

As the Black Belt in Lean for Nosco, Phuong will introduce some basic techniques and strategies by which Lean can be implemented without disrupting daily production.  He will explain the principles and concepts of visual management that should be part of any improvement strategy. Take-away will include ideas and resources that can help you launch a continuous improvement program within your company and there will be plenty of time for Q & A.
