Investing in Learning at Every Stage
The PIA MidAmerica Education Foundation creates opportunities for people to discover print, develop industry-relevant skills and continue learning throughout their careers. Through educational programs, scholarships and strategic investments, the Foundation strengthens the people, connections and knowledge that move print, packaging and visual communications forward.
Investing in the Future of Print
The future of print depends on helping more people discover the industry and build the skills to become part of it. Through Press Next and broader workforce development efforts, the Education Foundation supports career awareness, industry-connected learning and pathways into print, packaging and visual communications.
Learning Doesn't Stop When a Career Begins
A strong print community depends on learning at every stage—from a first introduction to the industry through decades of professional growth. The Education Foundation helps make that learning possible by supporting opportunities to:
Introduce students and career seekers to the technology, creativity and opportunity found throughout print, packaging and visual communications.
Expand access to relevant training, certifications, scholarships and educational experiences
Support continued learning that helps industry professionals strengthen their skills, broaden their knowledge and prepare for what comes next.
Invest in educators, educational programs and long-term partnerships that connect learning with the needs of the industry.

Nolan Moore - A Legacy Built Through Education
The Education Foundation began with a belief that remains central to its work today: the future of print depends on helping people understand the industry, develop meaningful skills and see a place for themselves within it.
Formally established in 1996 as the Nolan Moore Memorial Education Foundation, the Foundation honors the longtime executive director of PIA-Texas, a predecessor of PIA MidAmerica. During his 23 years of service, Nolan Moore championed industry education, career awareness and workforce development.
Nearly three decades later, the ways people learn—and the skills the industry needs—continue to change. The Foundation carries his commitment forward by investing in education and opportunity throughout every stage of a print career.
