Brian Rutherford, who makes his home in Warrensburg, Missouri, is one of the industry’s best-known safety experts. A 30-year safety veteran, Brian is a graduate of the University of Central Missouri’s Safety Management program, and former safety technician and officer in the Air Force Reserve. He is a former Fortune 500 Corporate Safety Coordinator, and for the past20 years he has worked almost exclusively in the printing industry. He assists PIA members with developing and implementing injury prevention programs and complying with OSHA regulations and has trained thousands of workers at hundreds of companies. He is a frequent presenter for many PIA affiliates across the United States and was instrumental in developing PIA MidAmerica’s “PrintGuard®” program; sponsored by INX International since 1999.
