This year’s annual PIA MidAmerica Lucky Shot Golf Tournament was awesome, and we are so happy that we had such a strong turnout for networking and fun. This tournament took place at the gorgeous Paradise Pointe Golf Complex in Smithville MO on September 20th . We hosted 158 golfers from throughout the PIA MidAmerica region.
We had a shotgun start at 11am where our golfers proceeded to their selected courses. Most teams played around 4 hours enjoying rounds of golf with intermittent breaks that included fun activities like Blackjack, Roulette, Longest Drive Contests, and Putting Green Challenges. They were facilitated by sponsors and volunteers, who helped ensure the fantastic event ran smoothly. We could not have done this event without the amazing group of industry professionals who volunteered throughout the summer and on the day of. Thank you!
We had pretty fierce competition that day with many teams fighting for the top spot, but two teams pulled the first place wins. With the lowest score coming from the “Posse“ Course with 56 strokes, included a team of Robert Batliner, Damon Lewis, George Kirchhofer, and JP Talbot. Alongside the Posse team a “Outlaw” team also managed to have an amazing score of 57 strokes, ranking the highest in their division. The Flight A team comprised of Rick Taylor, Ronnie Davis, Brian Davis, and Denny Davis.
