Bluebook of Hourly Costs

The Association’s Bluebook of Hourly Costs is an excellent tool in helping benchmark a company’s budgeted hourly rates used for estimating. 

Using current wages, equipment costs, and prevailing costs of operation, the publication provides the reader budgeted houry rates, at four different utilization rates, for all major cost centers (including digital printing equipment) in a typical commercial printing operation.  Since these rates are created using objective information and sophisticated modeling, the published rates provide the printing company manager an excellent tool to help review his company’s hourly rates and finanical performance. 

This publication costs $50, but members of the Association can download it free of charge by visiting the “Vault.”
