Job Title: Color Digital Operator/Small Format

Summary:
Responsible for producing high-quality color print documents according to customer specifications. Prepares files for print, color corrections, and operating printers such as Canon, Xerox, or Konica Minolta color printers.

Duties
• Sets up electronic PDF files for print.
• Verifies specifications on work orders.
• Performs color corrections when necessary utilizing press software.
• Sends finalized prints to appropriate printer.
• Operates and maintains reprographics machinery such as color printers.
• Sends finalized prints to appropriate printer utilizing RIP software.
• Verifies final trimmed prints as necessary.
• Inspects finished prints for defects, such as dust and smudges, and removes defects.
• Facilitates quality control in the color digital process.
• Completes special projects as assigned.
• Gathers, organizes, and separates printed work for delivery to customer or next department.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Detail oriented and multi-tasking ability
• Computer proficiency
• Basic math skills
• Ability to maintain an orderly work flow and prioritize assignments
