THE OPPORTUNITY
JPS Books + Logistics’ is in search of a highly motivated and detail-oriented 2d Shift Digital Print Operator with a passion for print production. You will be responsible for setting up, running and troubleshooting a variety of high-speed printers. You will play a pivotal role in our print department and be part of a team that strives to improve our processes and optimize all workflows. Hours are 2PM-10:30PM Rate $18-$22/Hourly
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
- Accurately read and understand job tickets
- Set up, program and prepare jobs
- Quality control to ensure product accuracy and minimal spoilage
- Troubleshoot printer issues
- Maintain proper machine maintenance
- Strong communication skills
- Other duties as assigned
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS NEEDED
- 2 years experience in digital printing is preferred
- Cannon experience is preferred, but not required
- Mechanically minded – able to set-up, troubleshoot and maintain equipment
- Must be computer savvy and willing to learn in-house programs and systems
- Able and willing to cross train on other equipment as needed
- Ability to multitask while maintaining quality
- Strong organizational skills
