Extremely Stable Commercial Printing & Packaging Company located in Arlington, Texas seeking experienced Prepress Manager for day shift.

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Prepress Manager to oversee our printing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various printing techniques, including offset printing, digital printing, wide format printing, along with expertise in prepress processes and color management. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge and creative skills, making it essential for the Prepress Manager to effectively manage production workflows while ensuring high-quality output.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily prepress production activities to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met.
• Manage the prepress process, including file preparation, color management, and proofing.
• Collaborate with graphic designers to ensure layouts and typography meet client specifications.
• Conduct quality control checks throughout the prepress process to maintain consistency.
• Train and supervise staff on best practices in printing, layout design, and manufacturing processes.
• Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet their expectations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years prepress experience.
• Minimum 5 years managerial experience.
• Knowledge of Mac & PC Computers as well as the maintenance of them.
• Knowledge of XMF Workflow.
• Knowledge of Switch Software.
• Knowledge of Variable data and writing scripts.
• Strong understanding of prepress processes, color management techniques, and quality control measures.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) for graphic design tasks.
• Experience in manufacturing environments with an emphasis on efficiency and productivity.
