JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Review Job Tickets to Determine Quantities, Paper, Inks and Other Requirements
Ensure Correct Plates Have Been Pulled; Run Press including Make Ready
Ensure Press Speed and Quality are Maintained; Pull and Inspect Random Samples during Run
Monitor Operation to Maintain Color Consistency and Registration
Follow all Department SOPs; Ensure Proper Housekeeping Around Press
Perform Routine Maintenance/Cleaning of Press; Perform Additional Assigned Tasks as Needed
QUALITIFICATIONS
5 Years as Pressman on Sheet-Fed Press; Komori LS Experience Preferred but Not Required
Ability to Read/Interpret Work Instructions (written/oral/diagram/schedules)
Problem Solving Abilities; Deal with a Variety of Variables
Experience with UV Inks and Coatings; Flexibility with Schedule for Overtime and/or Weekends
Ability to Maintain Professionalism; Good Communication Skills with Others
Punctual, Dependable, and Have a good Eye for Color and Details
