We’re partnering with former PIA MidAmerica Membership Development Director Dave Pierson who, prior to retiring in fall 2018, helped members with various technical, personnel and training issues. He was also instrumental in establishing our OK/TX “Continuous Improvement / Lean in Action” peer group in 2014, which continues to meet today.
Dave’s extensive print and packaging management experience has helped him coach teams of all sizes, ranging from one location with a handful of employees to multi-location organizations with hundreds. During his 40 years in the industry, he was a trainer at his company for the Phil Crosby Quality College and involved in implementing TQM principles and achieving ISO certification, as well. Dave was first introduced to the industry through the printing curriculum at his high school, and he graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
