Barton Nelson, a commercial printing firm, will invest more than $15.4 million to expand operations center, adding 5,000 square feet to its facility in Kansas City, Missouri, with plans to create 65 jobs over the next five years.

To assist Barton Nelson with its expansion, the Department of Economic Development, the Economic Development Corporation of Kansas City and the City of Kansas City authorized a strategic economic incentive package that the company can receive if it meets strict job creation and investment criteria.
Additional resources and initiatives that aids firms in business expansions include the Certified Work Ready Communities Program, export assistance, customized job recruitment and screening, Certified Site designation, LocationOne site and building database.
