Brodnax Printing Wins Best of Show

The Printing & Imaging Association of MidAmerica has announced that Brodnax Printing of Dallas, Texas was recognized with the prestigious Best of Show award in the Association’s 25th Annual Graphic Excellence Awards Competition.  The announcement was made April 3rd at the Association’s 2014 Graphic Excellence Awards Gala, held at Lone Star Park in Grand Prairie Texas with over 200 industry professionals in attendance.

The winning entry was a catalog produced for Hockaday School, a private school located in Dallas.  The printed piece was a complex tapestry of manufacturing challenges thus earning the entry its Best of Show recognition by a panel of independent judges.  “The entry required superb planning and attention to detail. There were dozens of elements to consider, from type of paper to binding to finishing that required a talented team to produce.  This entry truly earned Best of Show recognition,” stated Glen Petry, the senior judge of the competition.

Other Best of Show winners included: Blanks (Best of Show Honorable Mention); ColorMark (Best of Show Honorable Mention); and Quad/Williamson (Best of Show Gold, Silver, and Bronze).
